Description
Rotala Magenta ( Rotala macrandra ‘Magenta’ ) is a striking freshwater stem plant known for its narrow leaves and vibrant pink, magenta, and reddish coloration under good aquarium conditions. This more demanding Rotala is best suited to aquarists who can provide moderate to high lighting, consistent nutrients, and supplemental CO₂ for the best growth and coloration. It grows as an upright stem plant and benefits from regular trimming to encourage branching and maintain a dense appearance. Rotala Magenta makes an excellent midground to background plant and provides a vivid contrast against green aquarium plants.
