Description

Product Overview

The UNS 90SA Dual AIO is a 47.9-gallon shallow rimless aquarium constructed from 8mm ultra-clear glass with an integrated quadruple-chamber rear filtration system. Combining an expansive horizontal footprint with a low height, this shallow design provides a unique stage for emergent hardscape, shallow reef layouts, and pond-style aquascapes. By concealing equipment behind a sleek black acrylic wall, the 90SA eliminates external hoses and canisters, delivering a clean, plug-and-play display.

Key Features & Benefits

Low-Profile Shallow Footprint: Combines a wide 35.4-inch length with a shallow 14.1-inch height, making it ideal for emergent terrestrial plants, shallow reef scapes, and riverbed layouts.

91% Diamant Ultra-Clear Glass: Premium low-iron glass eliminates the green tint found in standard aquariums for true-to-life color accuracy.

45° Mitered Edges & German Silicone: Precision 45-degree joints increase bonding surface area for nearly invisible seams and high structural strength.

Integrated Quad-Chamber Filtration: Native rear sump conceals mechanical, biological, and chemical media out of sight.

Dual Pump Circulation: Includes two submersible return pumps with pre-installed hoses and dedicated trumpet nozzles to maintain high water movement across the wide footprint.

Complete Biological & Mechanical Media: Comes fully equipped with 8 high-porosity UNS Bio Blocks, two filter sponges, media riser trays, and dual acrylic back lids to minimize noise and evaporation.

Acoustic Leveling Mat Included: Pre-cut dense foam mat cushions the bottom panel, absorbs micro-vibrations, and prevents stress cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need a separate filter for the UNS 90SA Dual AIO aquarium?

No. The 90SA Dual AIO includes a complete quadruple-chamber rear filtration system equipped with two return pumps, coarse mechanical sponges, media riser trays, and eight UNS Bio Blocks. You only need to add an aquarium heater and light fixture.

2. Can I use the UNS 90SA Dual AIO for a marine or shallow reef tank?

Yes. The rear filtration chambers are dimensioned to house marine-specific equipment, such as the UNS Dual AIO Protein Skimmer, refugium lights, or custom media socks, making it a complete plug-and-play platform for shallow reef aquariums.

3. Why is a leveling mat necessary for rimless aquariums?

Because rimless glass tanks rest directly on their bottom panel without a raised plastic frame, microscopic imperfections or sand grains on a stand can create concentrated stress points under weight. The included foam leveling mat absorbs micro-vibrations and distributes weight evenly to prevent stress cracks.
