Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a complete meal or a topper?
This is a complete and balanced wet cat food formulated to serve as a full meal. It meets AAFCO nutritional standards for adult cat maintenance.
Why is taurine added?
Taurine is an essential amino acid that cats cannot produce in sufficient quantities on their own. It plays a critical role in heart function, vision, and reproductive health. Stella & Chewy’s adds it to ensure every serving meets your cat’s daily requirements.
Is this suitable for cats with grain sensitivities?
Yes. This formula is completely free from grains, legumes, potatoes, wheat, and soy – making it a strong option for cats with known grain or common allergen sensitivities.
What is the purpose of flaxseed in this formula?
Flaxseed is a plant-based source of Omega-3 fatty acids, which support healthy skin and a shiny coat. It complements the animal-based proteins to provide a more complete nutritional profile.
