Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a complete meal or a topper?
This is a complete and balanced wet cat food formulated to serve as a full meal. It meets AAFCO nutritional standards for adult cat maintenance and does not need to be supplemented with other food.
Why is this formula poultry-free?
Many cats develop sensitivities to common proteins like chicken and turkey over time. Stella & Chewy’s Carnivore Cravings Minced Morsels Tuna is formulated without any poultry ingredients, making it a reliable option for cats that react poorly to poultry-based foods.
Why is taurine added?
Taurine is an essential amino acid cats cannot synthesize in adequate amounts on their own. It supports heart function, vision, and reproductive health. Stella & Chewy’s adds taurine to every formula to ensure cats receive sufficient levels regardless of protein source.
Is this suitable for cats with food sensitivities?
Yes. This formula is free from grains, gluten, soy, legumes, potatoes, carrageenan, and poultry – making it one of the cleaner options for cats with multiple dietary sensitivities. Always consult your veterinarian if your cat has a confirmed allergy diagnosis.
