Remarks: Danios appreciate high flow and high oxygen content. Pearl Danios (Danio albolineatus) are found in well-oxygenated streams in Southeast Asia, where they swim over various sizes of rocky substrates with very little in terms of plant cover. They are active schoolers and appreciate large groups and high flow.
