Material and Construction
The two included bowls are constructed from high-quality stainless steel with a smooth interior finish that resists staining and odor retention. The raised edge border is integrated into the silicone base to help contain liquid and food spills. Both components are rated dishwasher safe, supporting moderate-duty daily use.
Size, Capacity, and Usage Guidance
Each stainless steel bowl holds 1.5 cups, making this double dog feeder well-suited for small to medium breeds with standard portion requirements. The set is designed for single-meal or all-day access feeding depending on the dog’s routine. For larger breeds or dogs with higher food volume needs, additional bowl sizes are available separately from Messy Mutts.
Functional Use – Standard Bowl
This dog bowl set is designed for basic daily feeding and water use. The silicone base provides a stable, non-slip foundation that keeps both bowls in place during active feeding. The smooth stainless steel interior allows for easy rinsing and cleaning between meals. The raised edge border reduces the spread of spills onto surrounding floor surfaces.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Place on a flat, stable surface to ensure the non-slip base functions correctly
Inspect bowls and base regularly for signs of wear, cracks, or damage
Use bowl sizes appropriate for your dog’s breed and portion size
Keep the feeding area clean and dry between uses
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use for extended periods
Cleaning and Maintenance
Both the stainless steel bowls and the silicone base are dishwasher safe. Regular cleaning after each meal is recommended to maintain hygiene and prevent buildup. Rinse bowls thoroughly before placing in the dishwasher. Avoid abrasive scrubbers on the stainless steel surface to preserve finish quality.
