Green finish adds a distinct, easy-to-spot color to the feeding station
Material and Construction
This dog feeding mat is constructed from food-safe silicone with a smooth surface finish in green. Two sides are reinforced with internal metal rods that provide structural rigidity, preventing the mat from folding or shifting during use. The non-slip base is integrated into the silicone construction, eliminating the need for additional adhesives or suction cups. The raised perimeter edge acts as a containment barrier for liquids and solids. Durability is rated at moderate duty, suitable for daily indoor feeding routines.
Size, Capacity, and Usage Guidance
The mat measures 20 inches by 12 inches, providing a practical footprint for medium dog feeding setups with one or two standard bowls. It is best suited for medium-sized dogs and their corresponding bowl sizes. This mat is intended for daily indoor use and is sold as a single unit. Sizing should be matched to the dog’s bowl diameter and feeding area to ensure adequate spill containment.
Functional Use
This feeding accessory is designed for standard daily feeding use. The non-slip base and raised edge work together to stabilize bowl placement and contain mess during active feeding. The metal rod reinforcement ensures the mat holds its flat profile over repeated use, maintaining consistent coverage of the feeding area.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Place on a flat, hard surface for optimal non-slip performance
Ensure the mat lies fully flat before placing bowls on top
Inspect periodically for wear, tears, or deformation of the silicone
Use a mat size appropriate for your dog’s bowl setup to ensure full containment
Store flat in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap after each use. The smooth silicone surface releases food residue and liquid easily with light scrubbing. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat. Allow to air dry fully before storing. Regular cleaning prevents buildup and maintains hygiene at the feeding station.
