Description
When your tank is home to a super-sized carnivore, mealtime is a big deal, and Hikari Massivore Delite is built for exactly those appetites. This is the 13.4 oz large size, packed with large, sinking pellets that Hikari describes as a scientific diet for carnivorous fish. It is a smart way to feed the appetite of a big eater without reaching for live foods every day.Why aquarists choose Massivore Delite for their carnivores: Formulated as a scientific diet for super-sized carnivorous fish, so it suits the hungry predators in your aquarium. Large, easy-to-feed sinking pellets sink down to where bottom-feeding carnivores naturally look for food. Hikari notes these pellets help reduce the parasite or bacteria transfer that can come with feeding live foods. Nutritionally complete to offer higher levels of necessary vitamins and minerals, according to Hikari. A great choice for large catfish, as the brand calls out specifically. Fish meal and krill meal lead the ingredient list, building the protein base a carnivore needs. Includes spirulina and dried seaweed meal alongside the animal proteins for a well-rounded recipe. Astaxanthin and canthaxanthin are part of the formula, the kind of carotenoids used in many color-supporting diets. Stabilized vitamin C and vitamin E supplement are included to round out the nutrition. The pellet size makes feeding simple, so you can portion out the right amount for your biggest fish. If you have been relying on live foods to satisfy a large catfish or another carnivorous favorite, the 13.4 oz Massivore Delite gives you a convenient daily alternative that Hikari has formulated to be nutritionally complete. The generous large size means fewer trips to restock, and the sinking pellets do the work of getting nutrition right where your carnivore feeds. Keep the container sealed and stored in a cool, dry spot, and you will have an easy-to-feed staple ready whenever your big eater is. For the carnivores that make your aquarium so striking, it is a thoughtful, fuss-free way to keep them well fed.
