Description
Hakkai Stone is a premium natural rock prized for its dark bluish-green color and smooth, river-worn texture. Also known as Pahai Stone, this stone is adorned with irregular holes and craters produced over centuries by natural erosion, giving it a unique weathered character and the nickname “Bug-Eaten Rock.” Its dark coloration provides a visually striking contrast against vibrant green plants, making it a perfect pick for Iwagumi layouts or authentic riverbed-style hardscape designs. While a rare commodity in the planted aquarium hobby, Hakkai Stone is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a high-end accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures to achieve a mature, aged look.
Notes:
Hakkai stone is very heavy. If you are looking for multiple pieces, please increase the amount ordered. If you have any questions, please contact our support team before placing your order.
This stone is inert and will not alter water parameters.
We recommend rinsing stones thoroughly before use to remove any natural dust or sediment.
Stone coloration darkens when wet.
