Material and Construction
The Floppy Brontosaurus Green Large is constructed from soft plush fabric with a poly-fill stuffed interior, keeping the toy lightweight and pliable despite its larger footprint. Five squeakers are distributed throughout the body to maintain sound engagement across different play zones. The floppy limb design and elongated neck add structural flexibility that supports shaking and tossing behavior. This is a light-duty plush dog toy intended for dogs with gentle to moderate play habits — not suited for aggressive chewers.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The plush exterior is soft and flexible, making it comfortable for large dogs to carry, shake, and mouth. At 18.5 inches tall, the large size provides significant surface area and multiple grip points for bigger breeds that benefit from a more substantial toy. The long brontosaurus neck provides an additional natural grip point that extends play variety. Play duration will vary based on the individual dog’s energy level and chew habits — expect moderate engagement sessions with dogs that enjoy interactive and comfort-based play. Supervision is recommended, particularly for dogs that tend to de-stuff plush toys.
Play Style and Functional Use
As a plush toy, the Floppy Brontosaurus Green Large is designed primarily for comfort play, light fetch, and interactive shake sessions. The floppy limbs and long neck create natural grip points for tug play, while the 5 squeakers reward fetch and shake behavior. This is not a chew toy — it is best used for supervised play where the dog engages with the toy’s movement and sound rather than sustained chewing.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
High supervision is recommended during all play sessions
Inspect the toy regularly for signs of wear, torn seams, or exposed stuffing
Replace immediately if the toy becomes damaged or squeakers are accessible
Ensure the large size is appropriate for your dog’s breed and play style
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with mild soap and warm water. Allow the toy to air dry completely before returning it to your dog. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, as these can damage the plush fabric, stuffing, and internal squeakers.
