Material and Construction
The Fabdog Bendie Rainbow Small is constructed with a soft fabric exterior filled with crinkle material and reinforced with a nylon lining. The crinkle fill provides tactile and auditory stimulation during play, while the nylon lining adds structural integrity and durability beyond standard plush construction. An internal squeaker provides additional auditory engagement. The flexible, bendable format allows the toy to be shaped in multiple directions, adding interactive variety that keeps dogs engaged across repeated play sessions. This positions the Bendie Rainbow as a light to moderate-duty sensory toy best suited for small dogs who enjoy multi-sensory play.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The fabric exterior feels soft and pliable, with a crinkle-filled body that produces satisfying sounds when compressed or manipulated. The flexible construction allows the toy to bend and hold various shapes, adding novelty to each play session. At 0.22 lbs, this toy is well-weighted for small breeds. Engagement duration will vary — dogs motivated by crinkle sounds and squeaking will enjoy extended sessions, while dogs who chew more aggressively may work through the fabric more quickly. The reinforced nylon lining provides added resistance compared to standard plush toys.
Play Style and Functional Use
Crinkle Toy: The crinkle-filled body produces satisfying crunchy sounds when compressed, shaken, or manipulated — ideal for dogs who are stimulated by auditory feedback during play.
Squeaky Toy: The internal squeaker provides an additional auditory reward, encouraging repeated engagement and interactive play between dogs and their owners.
Bendable Toy: The flexible construction allows dogs and owners to shape the toy into multiple positions, adding interactive novelty and extending play engagement beyond a standard plush toy.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Moderate supervision is recommended during play, particularly for dogs who chew aggressively
Inspect the toy regularly — replace if the fabric shows significant wear or if the squeaker or crinkle fill becomes accessible
Not recommended as a primary chew toy for moderate to aggressive chewers
Select the appropriate size for your dog — the small size is designed for petite and small breeds
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean the fabric exterior with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry fully before returning to your dog. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, as these can damage the fabric, crinkle fill, and internal squeaker. Inspect squeaker and crinkle function periodically during cleaning.
