A highly distinctive form of calcite consisting of sharply angled scalenohedral crystals, Dogtooth Calcite or Dogtooth spar is named for its remarkable tooth-like structure. In large formations the effect is particularly pronounced. Smoky white crystals with beautiful golden amber impurities sets this large display piece apart, with extremely sharp crystals that get clearer closer to the terminations
