Description
Designed for daily walks and controlled training sessions, this hand-woven cotton rope dog leash delivers secure handling for medium to large dogs. The grapefruit colorway features solid brass hardware and reinforced splicing for dependable strength on every outing. Material & Construction Crafted from 100% hand-woven cotton rope, this leash is spliced and whipped at the connection point to maximize tensile strength and resist fraying. Solid brass trigger snap and O-ring hardware provide corrosion-resistant durability, while the hand-dyed finish maintains color integrity through regular use. Built to withstand pulling, tugging, and moderate chewing, the construction prioritizes long-term reliability without exaggerated claims. Length & Width Clarity Finished at 5-6 feet in length, this leash offers balanced control for neighborhood walks and training exercises. The cotton rope diameter provides a comfortable grip for handlers while delivering sufficient strength for medium to large breed dogs. This length positions the leash as a versatile everyday option, offering close-range control without restricting natural movement. Control & Handling Positioning The solid brass trigger snap ensures quick, secure attachment to collar or harness D-rings, while the fixed-length design eliminates mechanical complexity for straightforward, reliable control. The hand-spliced construction creates a smooth transition from rope to hardware, reducing weak points that can compromise handling during active walks or training sessions. Safety Features Equipped with a brass O-ring attachment point for accessories such as waste bag holders, flashlights, or ID tags, this leash supports responsible outdoor walking. The solid brass hardware resists rust and maintains secure closure integrity, while the hand-whipped rope end prevents unraveling during use. Comfort & Grip The natural cotton rope construction offers a soft, ergonomic grip that reduces hand fatigue during extended walks. The rope’s texture provides natural anti-slip properties, even in damp conditions, while remaining gentle on handlers’ palms during sudden pulls or directional changes. Care & Maintenance Guidance Hand wash with mild soap and water, then line dry to preserve rope integrity and color vibrancy. Brass hardware can be cleaned with mild soap and water or a lemon juice and baking soda mixture to restore shine. Regular inspection of spliced connections and hardware ensures continued safe use.
