Description
Remarks: Blue orchid peacocks ( Aulonocara kandeensis ) have males that show a unique blue and black body and white “blaze” from the nose to the dorsal. They are from Lake Malawi and are found around Kande Island in a mixed habitat where rocky areas meet softer substrates. This is a very nice fish and underrated peacock cichlid. The original strain was brought in from Germany and they are now bred here at Imperial Tropicals.
