Description
A Handmade Wool Hideaway That Converts to an Open Bed
Give your cat or small dog a comfortable place to settle with the Yeti Pet Cave in Maroon. Handmade from 100% natural New Zealand wool, this pet bed offers two ways to rest: use it as a cave or flatten it into an open bed. That versatile design lets you offer a sheltered resting space or a flatter sleeping surface using the same product.
The soft wool keeps your pet warm in winter and cool in summer, making seasonal comfort part of its appeal. Whether your pet enjoys retreating into a cave or resting on a bed, the wool construction provides a comfortable place for everyday downtime.
This maroon variety combines natural New Zealand wool with natural vegetable dyes and is stated to contain no AZOs. The cave is described as extremely durable and is machine washable, with open-air drying required rather than tumble drying. It is designed for cats and small dogs, so its intended use is resting and sleeping, not feeding or treating.

100% New Zealand Wool in Maroon
Wool is central to the Yeti Pet Cave’s design. Its soft feel provides comfort, while its stated seasonal properties support a resting space that keeps pets warm during winter and cool during summer. The construction uses 100% natural New Zealand wool rather than a blend identified in the product information.
Natural vegetable dyes are used, and the product is stated to contain no AZOs. This listing is specifically the Maroon variety, giving you a clearly identified color when choosing a pet cave to suit your home.
Cave or Flattened Bed
The convertible design offers a simple choice between two resting arrangements. Leave the product in its cave form when you want to offer a sheltered space, or flatten it for use as a bed when an open resting surface is preferred.
Both arrangements are intended for cats and small dogs. This flexibility makes the product relevant to owners comparing wool pet caves, cat beds, and small dog resting beds without requiring a separate product for each format.
Washing & Drying Instructions
The Yeti Pet Cave is machine washable. Dry it in open air, not in a dryer.
The distinction matters when planning cleanup: machine washing is supported, but tumble drying is not part of the provided care instructions.
