Material and Construction
The Fleec-e-Friends Monkey is constructed from soft fleece fabric with a woolly texture that is gentle against a dog’s mouth and coat. The toy features stitched facial details and a decorative tail, providing more surface durability than printed designs. A squeaker is embedded in the center of the plush body. Construction is light duty, appropriate for gentle chewers and dogs that prefer comfort-oriented play over aggressive chewing. This is not a heavy-duty chew toy.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The fleece exterior is soft and pliable, making it comfortable for small dogs to carry, nuzzle, and interact with. At 8 inches, this plush toy is sized for small to medium dogs. Play duration will vary based on individual dog temperament; dogs seeking comfort may engage with this toy for extended periods, while play-driven dogs may have shorter, more active sessions. Supervision is recommended at all times due to the plush and squeaker construction.
Play Style and Functional Use
Plush Toy: The Fleec-e-Friends Monkey is designed for comfort and light play. Dogs may carry, nuzzle, or gently shake the toy during play. The soft fleece material and compact size make it an ideal companion toy for dogs that seek tactile comfort. The squeaker adds an interactive layer that can encourage short bursts of active engagement. This toy is not intended for aggressive chewing or tug play.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Always supervise use; plush toys are not suitable for unsupervised play with aggressive chewers
Inspect regularly for tears, loose stitching, or squeaker exposure; discontinue use if damaged
Ensure the 8-inch size is appropriate for your dog to prevent accidental ingestion of components
Remove the toy if the squeaker becomes accessible
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Allow the toy to air dry completely before returning it to your dog. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, which may damage the fleece fabric or internal squeaker. Inspect stitching and squeaker integrity after each cleaning.
