Material and Construction / Formula
PerfectFur Short Double Coat Shampoo uses a breed-specific cleansing formula engineered to address the layered structure of short double coats. The liquid formula is designed to work through both the dense undercoat and the shorter topcoat, lifting debris and neutralizing odor without stripping natural coat oils. The formulation is consistent with TropiClean’s standard for targeted, coat-type-specific dog grooming products.
Usage, Application, and Frequency Guidance
Wet the dog’s coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo and work into a lather, massaging through both coat layers from neck to tail. Rinse completely until water runs clear. For best results, use during regular bath sessions. Frequency will vary based on the dog’s activity level and coat condition – most short double coat breeds benefit from bathing every 4 to 6 weeks or as needed.
Functional Use
Shampoo / Conditioner
This dog shampoo is formulated specifically for rinse-out use on short double coat breeds. It targets both the undercoat and outer coat layers during the bathing process, supporting thorough cleaning and coat maintenance. It is not formulated as a leave-in product.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Supervise your dog during bath time to ensure safe handling
Avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mouth during application
Do not use on irritated, broken, or inflamed skin unless directed by a veterinarian
Inspect the coat and skin before each use for signs of sensitivity or reaction
Store in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures
Cleaning and Maintenance
Rinse the bottle cap and exterior after each use to prevent residue buildup. Store upright in a cool, dry area. Keep the cap tightly sealed between uses to maintain formula integrity. Discard if the formula changes in color, consistency, or odor.
