Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a complete meal or a topper?
This is a complete and balanced wet cat food formulated to serve as a full meal, not a supplement or topper.
Why is taurine added?
Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats that supports heart function and vision. Cats cannot synthesize adequate taurine on their own, so it must be provided through diet.
Is this formula safe for cats with grain sensitivities?
Yes. This formula is completely grain-free and also free from legumes, potatoes, soy, and wheat – making it a strong option for cats with common dietary sensitivities.
What does carrageenan-free mean?
Carrageenan is a seaweed-derived thickener used in some wet pet foods. Stella & Chewy’s excludes it from this formula in response to concerns about its potential effects on digestive health.
